“Monitoring the effects of Project PL0100

“Improving the efficiency of Polish Environmental

Inspection, based on Norwegian experiences””

In November 2015, a seminar completing the implementation of the project took place in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by the representatives of CIEP, NEA and all VIEPs. The participants summarised the cooperation in the framework of the project and all project activities. During the meeting, equipment purchased in the framework of the project was presented.


On 4–6 November 2015 in Krakow there was one of the last meetings under the programme Monitoring the implementation effects of Project PL0100 “Improving the efficiency of the Inspection of Environmental Protection based on Norwegian experience”, conducted jointly by the Inspection of Environmental Protection and Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). The meeting was attended by representatives of Voivodeship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection (VIEP) in Kraków, Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection and delegates representing Norwegian partner.

On 25 and 26 June 2014 r. the panel summarizing the first year of project implementation called Monitoring the implementation effects of Project PL0100 “Improving the efficiency of the Inspection of Environmental Protection based on Norwegian experience” was organised, which a common initiative of Inspection of Environmental Protection and Norwegian Environment Agency. The project is co-financed from the funds of the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009–2014.

In 2014 there were three study visits in Oslo under the Measure 3.7 of the project Monitoring the implementation effects of Project PL0100 “Improving the efficiency of the Inspection of Environmental Protection based on Norwegian experience”. Their aim was to familiarize with the practical aspects of conducting inspection of the industrial plants by the experts from the Norwegian Environment Agency.

On 11 June 2013 the seminar inaugurating the following projects was carried out in Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection:

  • Monitoring the implementation effects of Project PL0100 “Improving the efficiency of the Inspection of Environmental Protection based on Norwegian experience”
  • Strengthening the system of air quality assessment in Poland, based on Norwegian experience
  • Strengthening the technical capacities of Inspection of Environmental Protection through the procurement of measurement, laboratory and IT equipment.
